The sound of hooves fills the town and gallant horses capture the hearts of every visitor. On Friday, the Horses in the Bastion Equestrian Event includes dressage and show jumping competitions in the Bastion Arena. Children can find fun things to do in the Kesäpuisto Summer Park. The Town Expo is open in the Town Hall Square. Enjoy the cultural experiences and festival ambience of Hamina!

KESÄPUISTO SUMMER PARK CHILDRENS’ AREA 12:00-18:00

The Kesäpuisto Summer Park Children’s Area includes hobby horse riding tracks, hobby horse and other workshops, in hand riding, ponies and more! 

Find food and licorice to keep hunger at bay, and perhaps enjoy a picnic in the park or have a bite to eat at the Jaspis summer terrace. 

The Puistotalo building in the Summer Park hosts a horse-themed art exhibition by Stiina Hovi.

A team of Finnish Historical Carriage Foundation horses and ponies can be seen driving around the Hamina centre. The Sinebrychoff Brewery horses are part of the cavalcade.
